Continuing Education

For retirees moving to Odessa, continuing educational opportunities abound. Technology in rural areas has always been well developed, meeting health, safety and educational needs. An increase in the availability of accredited distance education programs, academic and technical, coupled with increased accessibility of air travel at reasonable rates, ensures the student an occasional trip to the main campus to check in or meet instructors. Being able to custom build a lifestyle for modern-day retirees keeps getting easier and easier.

Continuing Education classes at Odessa College have been designed to give students the opportunity to explore new activities for personal growth and enjoyment and an opportunity to keep up with new developments relating to their present occupations or to train for new career fields. Classes include computer skills, photography and more.

Midland College’s Community Programs Continuing Education Department has a long history of providing learning opportunities for residents of the Permian Basin.
